Financial support is needed to defray the expenses of monastics teachers traveling from Plum Village to lead and attend retreats and days of mindfulness, and to offer financial support to many who desire to attend the events but do not have the financial means to cover the cost of food and lodging.

  • A $40 donation will allow a low-income Palestinian or Israeli to attend one day of the retreat.

  • A $200 donation will allow a low-income Israeli or Palestinian to attend the full five day retreat.

  • A $1000 donation will cover the air fare for one monastic flying from Plum Village. It would be wonderful if communities around the world worked together to make it possible for participants from their Sanghas or regions to attend the June events and to financially support those in Israel and Palestine who wish to attend, but otherwise cannot because of the lack of financial resources.

Contributions can be sent directly to Being Together as One (c/o Shelagh Shalev, PO Box 376, Jerusalem, 91103, Israel).

U.S. taxpayers can make a tax-deductible donation by sending a check through the Washington Mindfulness Community. (Make check payable to WMC, and please write on the memo line "BEING TOGETHER". Send to Washington Mindfulness Community, P.O. Box 11168, Takoma Park, MD 20913, USA).
